There are claims that Emperor Nero converted to Judaism before his death is primarily rooted in Jewish legend rather than historical evidence. According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, there is a legend that Nero fled and became a convert to Judaism, and from him, Rabbi Meir was descended1. However, this account is not supported by contemporary historical sources and remains a part of Jewish folklore.

I have finally put together a study based on two videos on the channel called "The Garment of Esau" which may help glean some more insight into how the Roman Catholic Church came about and why it exists and flourishes to this day.
The Garment of Esau channel is the work of a kabbalist and so one must be careful when listening to the videos not to just believe what is said, since they encode EVERYTHING, and speak on many levels of meaning, and they also believe their own myths and fables. Everything is also from a viewpoint which is not anything like ours, so it is easy to misunderstand. It is best to just LISTEN to what is said without making it part of you, but also not by fighting the outrageous things he says in your mind as you listen, or else you may miss the truth that can be gleaned amidst the lies and bias. I try to calmly and rationally listen with the goal to afterward judge his words using scripture. I would suggest someone who watches these videos first pray and ask God to protect them from lies. We are promised spiritual protection if we walk with Christ: to walk on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome "he that is in the world" (being the prince of this world). So we should not fear them, but we must also be wary and not over confident.
Another thing I want to add is that kabbalists are very much like those whom we know in Christianity as GNOSTICS and they are oftentimes lawless, and even to the extreme. So if one watches this video on the Garment of Esau, one sees that he greatly dehumanizes the legalistic rabbis (he calls them the "Erev Rav" or mixed multitude) because there is an ongoing spiritual war between the extremist (Kabbalist) mystics and the legalistic rabbis (Not all rabbis are legalistic, some are more mystically-minded) While what he says about the rabbis, namely their self-serving nature and blindness to spiritual things is generally speaking true, we must remember that kabbalists are not lovers of the Truth or the true Jesus Christ at all, and all the rabbis are real people with real lives. I myself am very set against religious legalism, but I try to constantly remind myself that those that lean to the other side, the gnostics and kabbalists, are not on our side at all. They sometimes even acknowledge Jesus Christ but only as one of many "masters", like the New Agers do.
I believe by comparing what is said in the videos by what we ourselves know about the struggle of our Lord during His earthly ministry against the Pharisees, followed by the apostasy and Judaizing that is described in the book of Acts and all over the New Testament, and also our own very real modern day hands-on experience of how Judaizers work, we can gain some understanding as to how the Roman Catholic church came to be and how it has functioned in the world and why it continues to exist despite being like it is.
When someone reads my study it will be best to watch the videos linked in the order that I describe them as most of what I say is illustrated by the videos.
The main video regarding Peter and the office of the pope is very upsetting as he claims Simon Peter was actually a secret agent of Judaism. I will also add another video clip of Yitzak Shapira, author of The Kosher Pig, claiming the same thing. This seems to be what is secretly taught among certain Jews (most don't really know all the deeper hidden things the rabbis know and keep hidden; See Luke 11:52 and Matt 5:15 where our LORD berates them for their practice of hiding things and keeping things from the common man )
I want to say upfront that I do not believe for one moment the apostle Peter, despite his shortcomings, was a traitor. Rather, I believe that “Rav Shimon Kefa” (or "Simon Peter") in reality just stands as CODE FOR THE OFFICE OF THE POPE as secret agent to help protect Judaism and serve as what some would call today "controlled opposition".
(It may even not mean only the pope himself, though it may have started with ONE infiltrator, one man, and that is why I say the term "Peter" to the kabbalists may refer symbolically to THE OFFICE OF THE POPE, THE PAPACY, which could potentially include all the cardinals, with the pope only being the MOUTHPIECE and figurehead (as in: " 'Peter' speaks through the pope!"). We just don't know all the details, and we do not need to know every detail either in order to understand what the RCC represents and why it exists in the world)
"Controlled opposition is the use of black propaganda and saboteurs who claim to oppose a particular faction but are in fact working for the faction."
Another thing to consider is that the description of Simon Peter in the video from the Garment of Esau channel describes Peter as “ a great philosopher and teacher of the Mysteries “. This does not fit with what we know and read of apostle Peter at all, but rather reminds me of SIMON MAGUS, who was a gnostic and a sorcerer (See Acts 8:9-24). There also exist apocrypha like the Clementine Homilies and the Shepherd of Hermas which portray Peter as very simple but works based, and with Simon Magus as Peter’s great gnostic nemesis. And so written indications of this "another Peter" did exist early on as well as a link in these writings between him and Simon Magus as rivals.
The term "simony" refers to certain wicked practices of the Roman Catholic Church and the word comes from Simon Magus who wanted to buy the Holy Spirit.

It is also interesting that the name MAGUS reminds of the word "MAGISTERIUM":
"The Magisterium is the official teaching authority of the Church, constituted by the Pope and the bishops in union with him."
While I am not saying Simon Magus was the man who pretended to be Peter and went around deceiving people, there are the two above mentioned things, the term "simony" and his name "Magus" which do have some link to aspects in Roman Catholicism, but I would say we should rather see Simon Magus as A TYPE of how someone who was once a philosopher and sorcerer and turns to follows Christ could be tempted to seek power for the wrong reasons. He is to me a type of a Gnostic. Many of the secret orders within Catholicism and also the Jesuit order could be described as "gnostic". Gnosticism is based on human philosophy and strange heretical teachings just like all mysticism and is akin to Kabbalah. Kabbalah is an umbrella term for the Babylonian Mysteries.

In summary, the Vatican Magisterium is the authoritative teaching office of the Catholic Church, tasked with interpreting and preserving the Word of God, ensuring the Church’s fidelity to apostolic teachings, and providing doctrine and teaching.

Before one can understand how all this makes sense, it is very important to first grasp that both these kabbalists probably use "Simon Peter" as CYPHER or symbol for the PAPACY. So what Yitzhak Shapira is in effect saying is that the formation of the Roman Catholic church (brought about by the Judaizing and subsequent apostasy of the early church) prevented Judaism from being destroyed by Christianity. More about this later....

So if you have understood and "heard" with spiritual ears, you should get that nothing either these men claim about Peter speaks of the literal Peter and therefore nothing they say should be taken literally, but we should hear the truth behind their words. And what they are both telling us is that the Roman Catholic system was set up in an effort to protect rabbinic Judaism from Christianity ( "those big mean Christians'. ) Do not think of those poor powerless first century Christians being persecuted by Nero, but think of the fact that the Light of Jesus Christ was busy decimating the first century religious system of the Pharisees and Sadducees which lives today in the form of rabbinic Judaism. Think of how many thousands upon thousands were following our Lord and the apostles and how much upset it caused to that system:

So "those big, mean Christians" is not referring to Jew hating anti-semites as Shapira's words suggest to our modern propagandized minds, but is actually a reference to the true disciples of the teaching of Jesus Christ whose powerful witness to the Truth was threatening the very existence of Judaism in the first century in the decades after our Lord was crucified and the gospel preached in all the known civilized world. Not only had Jesus openly pointed out and corrected the false teachings of those who sat in the seat of Moses, He had also revealed many of the mysteries of the Kingdom (things they kept secret to keep men in bondage) and since so many Jews wanted to follow Christianity, it threatened the rabbis with their legalistic teachings and their traditions they clung to and also each rabbi's personal means of financial support.
So both the Jewish sages who were those who busied themselves with the secret teachings of the Babylonian Mysteries and those who were teaching the laws and ritualistic outer religion to the common people, were threatened by Jesus Christ's teachings. They did not WANT people to know the mysteries and they knew that Christ's teachings would eventually make the legalistic rabbinic Judaism obsolete and expose their hidden esoteric secrets as the pagan philosophies and myths they were. And so they started to infiltrate and Judaize RIGHT FROM THE START. With that same great zeal without knowledge and murderous intent as we know from the example of Saul before he became known as apostle Paul. (Nowadays many also claim Paul was an infiltrator and secret agent, which is also a lie coming from Judaizers who seek to make shipwreck of people's faith so they can step in with their Torah movements)
I will not go deeply into this early Judaization process as I assume most who read this will be familiar with this. However, I will quote a few scriptures to illustrate this and mention one specific incident we read about which perfectly illustrates how utterly infiltrated the church became very early on, and that is the fact that already in the apostle John's time there was actually a man named Diothrophes who actually had the gall to SHUN JOHN THE ELDER AND BELOVED APOSTLE and also any who would receive John :
3Jn 1:9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

Note: See my studies above especially how the church of Smyrna Revelation 2:9 and the true Church of today Philadelphia Revelation 3:9 are plagued by the Judaizers.
To me this one incident is more than enough to show how bad it was.

These are just a few quotes, the New Testament is filled with proof that the leaven of the Judaizers was pervasive and that they were relentless.

Regarding their claim that "Peter" was a traitor, I am reminded we read of many who falsely claimed to be apostles or of the Israel of God (Rev 2:2; Rev 2:9; Rev 3:9) and even wrote letters pretending to be the apostles:

...and so someone claiming to be Peter or close to Jesus could have easily been just such a man to be used by the top Jewish sages and elite (who could also have invested large sums of money) to set up and to move the focal point of Christianity to Rome, and start the monstrocity we call the Roman Catholic church. At that time it is estimated that 10% of the Roman Empire were Jews and just as it is now some of them were financially well off and well connected. They had the means and the motive to create a counter movement to protect what they valued and they would probably do whatever it took
So I think it is very possible to understand - in very broad strokes- from the video of the Garment of Esau that Christianity posed a great threat to Judaism because Christianity was exposing Judaism, and so the Jewish powers-that-be made a plan to "protect" their religious establishment from those "big mean Christians" (the zealous early Christians who were evangelizing with all their hearts) by deliberately causing the two religious systems to be separated and moving the headquarters of Christianity to Rome. I of course cannot in this life ever hope to know how long this process took and all the details, but to me this makes sense as it explains why the Sabbath and feast days changed and why Rome rather than Jerusalem became the headquarters of Christianity.
I do believe it started to happen after Paul died, though, because the book of Romans is not directly dealing with Judaizing like the book of Galatians is. The early church in Rome seemed to be going strong when Paul wrote to them. I get the idea from the book of Romans that pride may have taken root, because Paul warns them of "boasting against the branches". The video of the "Garment of Esau" channel says they were "emboldened by their growing numbers" which also to me has a hint of growing pride taking root perhaps.
Regarding Yitzhak Shapira's claim of "big, mean Christians" just think how the modern day Judaizers are ALWAYS playing their endless victim card and calling us anti- semites and haters for speaking out against the atrocities of Zionism.
But in a sense Christianity IS big and mean (from their viewpoint) because TRUE Christianity within it DOES HAVE THE POWER TO DESTROY JUDAISM. Christ did break its power over His people and ended the Old Covenant Sacrificial system. So from their viewpoint, and from the viewpoint of those first century rabbis, Christianity, although it was seen as a bothersome sect, was not something small and insignificant, but BIG and HIGHLY DESTRUCTIVE to rabbinic Judaism.
This brings us to the matter of how Catholicism was then set up and used to protect Judaism and restrain Christianity though using the office of the pope.
First we must ask why would the early Christians allow themselves to be silenced and hamstrung by actually themselves becoming part of such a religious system as Catholicism, which is basically just the same type of oppressive religious system as Judaism in a way, only far worse in some respects, especially the idolatry.
I think the answer lies in the video where it says
" The Natsarim, emboldened by their growing numbers..."
Those "numbers" included people who came from pagan backgrounds. Since the movement was encouraged and promoted by Judaizers who did not seek the good of Christianity but the preservation of the old traditions and ways , they would not be properly discipling them the way the true apostles did. Also, "filthy lucre" probably also started to play its corrupting role right from the get-go, as it always does.
And so we finally come to an insight I had about how the Roman church actually came about, namely that the rabbis and sages in a sense inadvertently helped to create the Roman Church by trying to subvert Christianity. Because what ended up happening is that both Judaism and the pagan peoples who eventually became part of Catholicism actually helped protect each other from the true Christian faith by means of Catholicism.
To understand what I am trying to say one needs to understand the underlying motives of the two groups, since both Judaism and the Romans ended up benefitting from the Roman Catholic system, in that it served both. Judaism and the paganism of Rome were able to continue despite Christianity's great success in gaining victory over both these systems. And Christianity could be hamstrung and kept in check by the system.
I am not saying men consciously thought upfront that it would work out this way. I am saying one thing probably led to another and the result of the Judaists trying to "bury" Christianity led to an unholy "marriage" of sorts, a mutually abusive marriage so to speak. In which both sides actually remain spiritually imprisoned and they enable each other to continue to exist in their states of bondage, even while they hate each other and blame each other for their continuous suffering. It is very much like the classical abusive marriage .
They hate each other but they enable each other also. (I say this with great respect for those who have suffered in this way, but it illustrates my point, I think)

So what I see is that Roman Catholicism enabled the pagan Romans to actually hold on to their pagan traditions, despite being overcome and subdued by Christianity. The reason that underlies these people being unable to let go of their former ways is LUST, which involves the love of this world.

This video of how Yitzhak Shapira explains why Jews will not turn to Christ shows me also the motivating factor for the Jews. It is not LUST as with pagan gentiles and modern westerners, but FEAR. They fear the loss of everything they hold dear and especially they fear being cast away by their fellow Jews when they convert.
So, in effect the Roman Catholic Church is a system that was set up that not only protects Judaism and allows it to continue on, rather than being dissolved as the Jews turn to Christ, but it also protects the ways of the pagan culture of the west with it's idolatry and ancient philosophy, and all the western traditions, just as the Roman Catholic in the video plainly explains.
The kabbalist also said that they believe that the rabbis must oppress the Jews in order to avoid Judaism to dissolve (by Jews assimilating). He does not say how they do this, if it only involves spiritual oppression or taking more extreme measures through secret political machinations.
There is some reason to suspect that the Roman church also has helped in this process of preventing the assimilation of Jews into Christianity. While I cannot of course prove this, I recommend you take the time to listen to an audio I put together of two Jewish gentlemen who are trying to understand the reason for antisemitism and in the process tell the background story of the Spanish Inquisition we are never told. All we ever hear is that Christianity has blood on its hands, but as usual the truth is very different from what we are made to believe by the lies and propaganda and half truths.

This video should raise some questions in one's mind, for example, why did so many Jews suddenly mass convert, even rabbis, and how did they rise in the ranks of the Catholic church so very fast? And why have we never heard about the fact that it was not Christians who persecuted other Christians and Jews, but it was mostly recently converted Jews ("conversos") who actually persecuted other recently converted Jews.
Note: My comment: Watch Schindler's List. The Nazis employed hundreds of Jews to be in charge and assist the guards - in the ghettos and in the camps.

Perhaps they were truly zealous converts who came to realize the dangers Judaizers pose to Christianity, but perhaps they were those rabbis who were fighting assimilation, but clothed in Esau's Red Roman garment, so to speak.
Call me conspiracy theorist, but I would not put something like that outside the realm of possibility. And perhaps it was even a combination of both.
No true born again Christian is going to be part of something as hideous as the Spanish Inquisition, but unfortunately it is true that many carnal Christians, and esp extremist Catholics, could easily have been riled up to take part. And then it seems it spun out of control, and caused havoc in Spain and to all Jews who got expelled.
Finally, something I am starting to see more clearly is how rabinnic Judaism and Roman Catholicism, as bad as these systems are, strangely enough do seem to form some sort of protection to the born again children of God from the extremist kabbalists and the New Age progressives.
Because it takes so much effort to move the people in these two systems from their long held traditions, we have been somewhat protected from these"'progressives" who always want to "move forward" in their never ending quest for an ultimate utopia where they will be free from all forms of what they see as restraint. The Behemoth of Catholicism and the strong influence and (for now) exalted position of Judaism in the modern world causes things to move slower than the enemy would probably like and gives us time to see what is happening.
Our world is so filled with deception and appearances. I thank our Lord Jesus Christ with Whom things are plain, simple and straightforward. I thank Him that He is able to help us see these things but mostly that in Him we have a resting place of peace to abide in, even in a world of chaos that we do not fully understand.
May God richly bless the body of Christ, who are blessed to have eyes to see and ears to hear.

As it is quite speculative, I really will not feel bad if you decide not to publish it. It is just so that in this life we cannot know everything we would like to, but I also try remember our faith is about love, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit and not about knowledge (with gnosticism being just as great a trap as legalism)
I am very glad to have written it down and have someone else read it, though, even if only one person, because it has helped me tremendously in understanding that there is some sort of spiritual collaboration between Christianity, even the Catholic sort, and Judaism. I of course could see how Christian Zionists help Jewish Zionism, but now I see how Catholicism also works together with Judaism in preserving the traditions of men.
Seeing how NAR is also connected to kabbalah has been a further eye opener for me to see that we have enemies on both sides: the gnostics/kabbalists and the legalists. And what I am seeing more and more is that Judaizers are not only legalists, but they hide their inner gnostic kabbalistic doctrines under outward law keeping movements, making them even more grievous.

You know brother, there is a term used "mow the grass".
Apparently Naftali Bennet used that term regarding how Israel deals with Gaza (or used to before they obliterated it.)
It meant to them they had bombing campaigns to keep Palestine in check.
But I see something else there....I would not be surprised if Israel had infiltrators among Hamas, and Hamas members secretly loyal to Israel, and the leader of Hamas himself secretly loyal to Israel. Then, whenever true leaders stood up and joined Hamas from the ranks of the Palestinians, they could quickly pinpoint them and bomb their homes to get rid of them.
No one would really know as they could potentially kill them when they are still young and unimportant. But they know how a real leader looks and they know such a one would be a threat to them later on. This is just what I suspect regarding them and why Netanyahu created Hamas: as a "tool" to "mow the grass".
That term "mow the grass" makes me think this is how they can prevent true Christians ever gaining positions of leadership too. By having the papacy, the World Council of Churches and all the "seminaries" and even local "rings" (even in non Catholic circles) they can do the same: ensure that no true leader is ever in a FORMAL position of great authority.
They can also ensure that whoever is in Christian leadership will have that dual loyalty to both Catholicism and rabbinic Judaism which their unholy alliance upholds. One head that looks like a lamb with two horns that speaks for them and ensures that the first beast is still worshipped.

BUT they also do us a favour because God does not want us His children to build an earthly kingdom. We are to be focused on the things of the Spirit. And so in a sense we are forced to make SPIRITUAL war and overcome the forces of darkness who are so stacked against us. If we could have great leaders and all would be peaceful, I am not so sure we would be so focused on overcoming our carnal nature. We would probably be busy with the things of the earth.
So I see even in their state of apostasy, they do serve us. I am of course not saying what they do is good or that God wants them to do it, but I do see how it benefits us IF we run the race. If we do not run the race, we are terribly harmed by what they do in the dark and also openly.
I am glad God makes us grow spiritually but I hate their evil subtle and self-seeking ways.
