I've been observing this phenomenon of Messianic Jews and their identity crisis for the past 20 years. I remember vividly being caught up in the Zionist movement back in the 1990s. I subscribed to every Messianic Jewish organization I could find. I faithfully financially supported the Jews for Christ organization for years. I would attend Seders and be overwhelmed by the awesome experience of participating in this incredible sharing of love in what I thought was the true Passover.
Then, after dedicating my life fully to Christ in 2001, I started to wake up and really started reading my Bible. All of the many Messianic Jews I had been following were saying many things that did not add up to what my King James Bible was telling me. Unlike many Christians who wake up from a blind following of Messianic Judaism, I did not fall into the trap of Replacement Theology and become a convert of AntiSemitism. God Forbid! Let's be clear, I love the Jewish people and truly believe the Jewish remnant are God's chosen and the Church has not replaced God's chosen. But sadly, Satan has worked the same Pharisaical blood lines down to the present day and this is what I address.
It happened one morning while I was living in Viet Nam at a coffee shop with a new Navy veteran friend I had met. I'm retired Navy and both of our wives are Vietnamese. We're both Christians and he explained that I was a Zionist and that's as far from being a good witness for Christ as one could be. Our conversation went south from there. I accused him of being Antisemitic and he tried in vain to convince me that Anti Zionism is absolutely NOT Antisemitism. I then accused him of replacement theology, but he denied that with sound proof. I was confused, but we agreed to change the subject. Even our wives were alarmed by our heated exchange. And then my friend literally prayed a very prophetic prayer, "Dear Lord I pray Randy's eyes be opened to the truth. AMEN!"

When I read Dr. Grady's book, "Final Authority" of the King James Bible, it became abundantly clear that I did not have to speak Hebrew to understand the Bible as these Messianic Jews hammer home continually. Albeit using in Greek and Hebrew are important in sound Hermeneutics and Exegesis . Nevertheless, the King James Bible extremely sound in its translation, purified 7 times. Another problem Messianic Jews have is truly understanding they are a new creature. They can not wrap their minds around Galatians 3:28 KJV. A true Christian walk is not founded upon Judeo-Christian values. Truth is, there never has been a Judeo-Christian value associated with a true follower of Jesus Christ. Judeo - Christian history other than Jesus Christ was a Jew and the first Christians were "converted Jews" yes, but to say shared values is not true. Ask any honest Rabbi and they will agree. What has been and does exist is Jewish Heritage and Christian Heritage. But combining the two mutually exclusive religions is heresy for both true Christian and true Jew alike. As Rabbi Eliezer Berkovits puts it, "Judaism is Judaism because it rejects Christianity, and Christianity is Christianity because it rejects Judaism." I'd like to add: The divider: Jesus Christ. Judaism is closer to Islam than it is to Christianity. Please do your own research focused on how Muslims and Jews view Jesus Christ. And actually every Muslim I've ever spoken to has a higher regard for Jesus as compared to every Jew I've ever spoken to. And what angers both Muslim and Jew alike is when we Christians call Jesus Christ God incarnate.
