Can We See Him Who Is Invisible? Hebrews 11:27

Having just returned from 3 weeks of great adventure in walking by faith and not by sight which involved both great spiritual triumph and humbling of self, I just couldn't wait to put down some thoughts that summarized this experience. In Hebrews 11:27 summarizing Moses' faith as part of the great men and women of faith, we're told that Moses endured and was able to walk away from Egypt because he had a vision of God's mission for him and specifically he could see God: "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible."It's so easy to talk about stepping out on the vision God has given us and then to endure through trials, temptations, and tribulation holding onto that vision and then to see it through in spite of what is contrary to the flesh and not worrying about pleasing man. But doing it requires something that goes beyond ourselves and that's where we need the Holy Spirit to take us beyond our mere mortality. I found that whenever I look by faith and see God with my spiritual eyes (the eyes of faith).. For the Just Shall Live By Faith... (Hebrews 10:38)I can and do move by faith. But whenever I take my eyes off of God and see only the physical world and man and man's system; i.e., "the world", I hinder God's work through my life and thereby grieve the Holy Spirit..I don't care what my bank account balance is or what people say is possible or common sense or what's dangerous or risky... I only care about doing what God tells me to do and this is by having that personal time with him each day.. Seeking his face...I've been studying trying to take a deeper level of understanding of seeing God. I believe that we can see God and by seeing God we like Moses will forsake the world and endure for the Kingdom of God. We can only see God if we humble ourselves and become as little children. Amen.
